Our friends in Canada often have a different approach to bureaucracy- sometimes better, sometimes not- but their way of registering aircraft and titles is very, very different.

First, use the link at top left to find out to whom the aircraft is registered.

To find out if there is a lien on an aircraft you should contact the provincial Ministry of Finance (or Justice of the Peace) in the province in which the aircraft is registered. Use the second link to connect to the Provincial Information Center for this contact.

Unlike the US, there are no independant title search companies in Canada.who will do these searches for you.
